This is a book of practical ideas drawn from years in the trenches and from talking to hundreds of pastors who labor there daily. It is written to encourage, to inspire, to motivate the big people who serve in little places. Little, of course, is a relative term. Christ loved the church and gave himself for it. If such a great price was paid for the church, no one has a right to call any church small. Some are simply not as large as others. The smaller church is the backbone of the kingdom of God. By their sheer numbers alone they carry the work of God forward. As they go, so goes the kingdom.
