A teacher told her class to list the Seven Wonders of the World. The generally accepted group consists of: The Great Pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal, Grand Canyon, Panama Canal, Empire State Building, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Great Wall of China.
One little girl was having trouble making her list so the teacher asked if she could help. The little girl said, “No, give me time.” Then she gave the class this version of the list:
1. To see
2. To hear
3. To touch
4. To feel
5. To love
6. To laugh
7. God’s love for us through Christ
The fact is, the real Seven Wonders of the World are simple, ordinary things we often overlook. They can’t be built or bought. They are gifts from God. Now, let all the earth give thanks to the Lord. (Psalm 118:29)
